May 24th - 27th Memorial Day Weekend

The NASWA Resort starts its 2013 season off with live entertainment all weekend and a fantastic room special: if you reserve two nights in one of our rooms or suites (cottages have a three-night minimum stay), you’ll get the third night half off! Both the NazBar & Grill and the Blue Bistro will be waiting for you – to transport you to the Caribbean, and feed your body and your soul. We can’t wait to see everyone after such a long winter!

June 7th - 16th – 90th Laconia Motorcycle Week

The tradition continues: 2013 means it’s the 90th Laconia Motorcycle Week, and many have made it their tradition to spend it at The NASWA throughout the years. Our Resort is the perfect home base for catching all the events and action throughout the week since you can ride (or walk) down to the Weirs right from our Resort, but don’t miss the daily events at The NASWA, either! There is no cover charge for the live music on the beach at the NazBar & Grill and Late Night at the Blue Bar! Staying with us is the best way to get the most out of your Bike Week experience.

7th Annual Peter Makris Memorial Ride

It’s our 7th year honoring the memory of The NASWA’s patriarch, Peter Makris, WWII veteran and avid motorcyclist. This is the official kick-off event for Laconia Bike Week! Over the last 6 years, the Peter Makris Memorial Run has raised over $185,000 for the Laconia Fire Department Life Saving Fund and Water Rescue Teams as well as the Easter Seals NH “Veterans Count” program. 4th Annual NASWA Day

In 2010, former Governor John Lynch named June 29th “NASWA Day” in New Hampshire for our 75th anniversary. Not only is it an honor, but it’s also a wonderful excuse to celebrate, so join us for NASWA Day! This year, we are celebrating 78 years, and you won’t want to miss the party or the live music on the beach!

July 4th Freedom Celebration with Sam Adams!

Happy Birthday to America! What better way to celebrate our nation’s history than to catch some rays on a gorgeous sandy beach at our annual event sponsored by Sam Adams Brewery? Join us for an afternoon of plentiful giveaways from Boston Brewing Company as well as fun, games and contests! We have a perfect view of the Weirs Beach fireworks from our docks and plenty of live music, too. We can’t help thinking the Founding Fathers would approve!

Whether you’re actually attending the New Hampshire 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway or just want to see the action from the best spot in the state, our big screens are the perfect place to watch during the race. Pre- and post-race activities are planned throughout the weekend, including live music Thursday through Sunday!

13th Annual HK Powersports Land & Lake Poker Run

Travel by land or lake to have fun and win prizes while raising money for Easter Seals NH! Competitors navigate checkpoints throughout the Lakes Region and receive a poker card at each one. Whoever has the best poker hands at the end wins! Over $700,000 has been raised for Easter Seals New Hampshire since the event started in 2000. We’ll be hosting the party for all the participants after the end of the run with live music and fun – so come join us!
