We took a few days to enjoy ourselves and couldn’t have chosen a better place. We had a room with a deck overlooking the lake. Heavenly… staff could not have been more accommodating… Take a breather and make a reservation… you won’t regret it.

Four years ago, we were looking for a family-friendly vacation spot and were happy to find that The NASWA met our needs. The cottage that we stay at is right on the water, and our grandchildren love being able to play in the sand, row in the kayaks, swim in the water, and fish from the docks. … We look forward to this vacation each year.

We have made the drive from NYC to The NASWA for some years now and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back, and there is a variety of activities to please everyone’s taste. … The NASWA’s location is also convenient, we can go north to visit parks and mountains, or go south for some antiquing and shopping. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at The NASWA and are hoping to visit again soon! This was our first trip, and we were so pleased with the comfortable accommodations and enjoyed the convenient and beautiful setting. But without a doubt, the delicious meals and exceptional service make your inn one of our new favorites! … Thank you all for making our stay so memorable and fun!

We have been going to The NASWA Resort for over 10 years. It has been a favorite summer vacation for my family and friends, too. We enjoy that everything is right at the resort: from dining, entertainment, water sports, beach bar, and grill – you have it ALL. The cottages are awesome as they are right on the lake for swimming, boating, and fishing. It is like having your own beach house on the water. We highly recommend this resort for a fun-filled family vacation.

We’ve been coming to The NASWA for about five years now and have never had any complaints. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I can’t say enough about the staff as they are always the most pleasant and will do their best to honor any requests you have. There is plenty to do with being on the beach, the docks for your boat, the beach bar, and the kids’ activities you have during the week. Thank you for always making our vacation just that – a vacation!

The hubby and I have been vacationing at the NASWA for over 30 years. We spent our honeymoon at The NASWA in 1983, and we named one of our dogs Naz after the NazBar. The NASWA definitely is the BEST place on the waterfront of Lake Winnipesaukee.
– Vera Lynn Carroll, Medford, MA
Six years ago, we searched Google for a place to stay on the lake where we could bring our new boat. We found The NASWA Resort. That year, we stayed a long weekend, and have never looked anywhere else. … The Resort is a comfortable place to take our family, and the Makris family treats you like you are part of their family.
– The Gudrians, Windsor, CT
We have been going to the “Naz” for over 15 years. I have had nothing but positive experiences all around. … If you do nothing else, make sure you spend some time at The NASWA Resort!
– Doug and Deb Cali, Boston, MA
For over 20 years, we have been staying at The NASWA. Every year, I spring fish with my son and many friends. We always come back to The NASWA. It’s like going home. Great accommodations and the greatest people you could ever meet – the Makris family and their employees.
– Dave Mowry, Greenfield, MA
I have traveled thousands of miles and stayed in many hotels, motels, and resorts. When I go to The NASWA Resort, it’s like going home to family. The Makris family and staff go out of their way to make sure your stay is one of the best traveling experiences you have ever had.

The Staff at Naswa treat you like family. Our family has been going there for 25+ years with only a few years skipped now and then. Awesome Staff, Awesome Food and the NazBar is one one of the finest in the land and most certainly on the Lake! For our family, it is truely one of the only places we go to actually relax and have fun! I so look forward to going back every time. For me it’s a slice of heaven!!!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days as part of a New Hampshire bus tour. We were here at a quiet time ( Sept.29 – Oct. 2), but I could tell by pictures on the lobby wall that this place is THE place to be in the summer. The lake setting is beautiful, the food in the restaurant was very good, especially the suppers, and even though the resort is many years old, the rooms are well-kept and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating , providing us with complimentary wine, cheese and fruit upon our arrival. We were minutes away from the Mt. Washington lake cruise and the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad.
