The NASWA is proud to host the official kickoff event of Laconia Motorcycle Week: the Peter Makris Memorial Run. More than just a scenic ride, it’s a tribute to a man whose legacy is woven into the very soul of the resort and the community.

This charity motorcycle run around Lake Winnipesaukee supports causes close to Peter’s heart, including Veterans Count, local fire and emergency teams, and veteran housing efforts. With police escorts, ceremonial blessings, live music, and a lakeside after-party, the ride is a can’t-miss moment of the week. Since its founding, the event has raised over $575,000 for local causes, proving that one ride can make a lasting impact.

Bike Week at NASWA means the beach is rocking from day to night. The NazBar & Grill turns up the volume with daily live bands, dancing, themed parties, and a front-row seat to the action.
