Stunning vistas and panoramas await to reward those who take on the challenge. These relatively easy hikes are great for novice hikers or those with children.

Locke’s Hill: Lakeview and Quarry Trails

This reasonably easy trail is just under two miles and features several sites for picnics and rest breaks. This hike is ideal for beginners and has been known to produce the rare and highly coveted, lady slipper flower.

Red Hill: The Red Hill Trail and Red Hill Loop

Red Hill is one of the more prominent peaks in the Lakes Region. This broad, flat-topped ridge seemingly bursts out of the ground at its base.
