Lake Winnipesaukee Summer Homes That Fit Your Budget

Paugus Suite on Lake Winnipesaukee

Do you know one of the best things about summer house rentals on Lake Winnipesaukee at The NASWA? Flexibility. There’s a spot for everyone, whether

you’re rolling deep with the whole family or keeping it low-key with a smaller group. The one-room cottages are cozy, simple, and sleep four—perfect for a quick escape. Larger groups can spread out in the two-bedroom cottages, which feature full kitchens (hello, lakeside breakfast!) and daily housekeeping. And if you want to feel a little fancy, the Paugus Suite is where it’s at—three bedrooms, a balcony with lake views, and enough space to host your own mini-reunion.

All the Lake Vibes Without Leaving the Property

You don’t need to wander far to enjoy your summer to the fullest. The NASWA has the largest private beach on Lake Winnipesaukee—yes, the largest—so whether you’re a sand-between-your-toes kind of person or more of a kayaking-before-brunch type, you’re covered. And when hunger strikes? The NazBar & Grill serves tropical drinks and casual bites on the beach, while Blue Bistro offers upscale flavors with locally inspired dishes and stunning lake views. Trust me, there’s nothing quite like sipping a cocktail with shades on and your toes in the sand.

Adventure Around Every Corner

Of course, if you’re the type who likes to explore (guilty!), The NASWA’s location makes it extremely easy to explore everything the New Hampshire Lakes Region has to offer. Spend a morning wandering through Meredith’s quaint shops, take a scenic boat ride, or catch a live show at Weirs Beach. And let’s not forget the state parks, local museums, and art galleries, for when you want to switch things up. With numerous recreation options nearby, summer house rentals on Lake Winnipesaukee serve as both a relaxing retreat and a launchpad for adventure.

5 Bachelorette Party Ideas to Do at The NASWA Resort

When it comes to planning a bachelorette party, finding the perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and adventure is key. Lake Winnipesaukee is the ultimate destination for an unforgettable celebration, and The NASWA Resort provides the ideal home base. With its lakeside location, private beach, and easy access to local activities, it’s no wonder this spot is a favorite for brides and their squads. If you’re looking for bachelorette party ideas that offer something for everyone, here are five incredible ways to celebrate by the lake.

1. Spend a Day on the Lake

No trip to Lake Winnipesaukee is complete without some time on the water, and a bachelorette party is the perfect excuse to make it a full-on lake day! Start by renting a boat or jet skis to explore the sparkling waters with your crew. If you’re feeling adventurous, paddleboarding and kayaking are also fun group activities. The private dock access makes it easy to launch right from your home base, and there are few things like cruising the lake with your best friends while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

2. Celebrate with a Sunset Dinner

Nothing sets the mood for a special celebration like a beautiful sunset, and Lake Winnipesaukee delivers some of the best views around. After a day of adventures, treat the bride-to-be to a delicious dinner at The NASWA’s Blue Bistro or NazBar and Grill. A lakeside setting with fresh dishes and craft cocktails is the perfect way to elevate the evening. Whether you’re toasting with champagne or sharing desserts, a sunset dinner adds a touch of elegance to your bachelorette weekend.

3. Host a Private Beach Bash

One of my favorite bachelorette party ideas is a beach bash, and the sandy shores of Lake Winnipesaukee couldn’t be more ideal. Set up some party decorations, plan a playlist, and bring games for a lively lakeside celebration. The NazBar & Grill serves tropical drinks and tasty snacks, so you can relax with cocktails while catching up with your crew. Plus, the private beach ensures you’ll have plenty of space to make the celebration uniquely yours.

4. Go on a Local Brewery or Winery Tour

For a fun outing that mixes exploration with great drinks, head out on a brewery or winery tour around the Lakes Region. Plenty of local spots are nearby to sample craft beers, creative cocktails, or New Hampshire wines. It’s an easy way to get out and explore the area while bonding with your group. After a day of tastings, head back to the resort to unwind and share stories from the adventure.

5. Relax and Recharge with a Spa Day

As much as I love planning activities, every bachelorette party needs a moment to slow down and recharge. A spa day at Meredith Whole Living Center is the perfect way to balance out the energy of the weekend. Book massages, facials, or mani-pedis and let the group relax together. Afterward, enjoy some downtime back at your cozy waterfront accommodations, where you can chat and laugh the night away.

Best Places to Stay in New Hampshire for a Celebration

Planning the perfect bachelorette party is all about creating moments the bride will cherish forever. With its mix of adventure, relaxation, and scenic beauty, Lake Winnipesaukee is the ideal destination to make those memories happen. The NASWA Resort provides the perfect setting for every activity, from lake days to elegant dinners.
